About Shea Stoney Mortgage Solutions
Operating since 2011, I am an independent mortgage broker with an office in Surrey, BC. I am also the managing broker of a Dominion Lending Centres, Canada’s #1 mortgage brokerage brand giving my clients access to more products than any single bank ever could.
With ten plus in the mortgage industry, I have the contacts and connections needed to serve a wide variety of client needs. Also, looking back, I found that my clients all had one thing in common. They needed a reason to feel hopeful about buying their first home or their next home. I have been determined to help them achieve their dreams.
My business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and most of my clients are in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. However, over the years, I have helped clients buy homes on Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, northern BC, and even as far away as Nova Scotia.

What sets me apart from the rest of the competition is I know that relationships with clients are as important as the relationships with mortgage lenders, lawyers, notaries, and appraisers. I am proud of the connections and relationships I have developed with the people of this industry because I know it takes a team of professionals to help my clients succeed.
One of my most significant achievements has been my enviable track record of always finding innovative ways of getting people into homes even when it didn’t seem possible at first. Using suite income with the right lender made many people happy in past years. With property prices as high as they are now, challenges have arisen, but there are new solutions we are turning to now that are as effective.
2021 was a breakthrough year for me with Dominion Lending Centres, earning their Canada-wide Top One Hundred Broker award. My dream for the future is to build on this growth to continue building rental housing in areas that need it. I have completed one successful project, providing eight studio rental apartments in the City of Nanaimo, but I see there is a need for more rental housing around the province.
